GlowRecs participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may also use verified retailer affiliate links. Amazon Associates is an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. Some pages on this site contain affiliate links; if you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
How this affects what you see
It doesn't. Product rankings on GlowRecs are calculated mechanically from Reddit consensus — the formula is documented on our methodology page. No brand has ever paid for placement, and we have no editorial relationship with any brand or retailer. If a product ranks #1, it's because the math says so, not because someone wrote us a check.
When we earn money
We earn a small commission only when a reader clicks an affiliate link from GlowRecs and goes on to complete a qualifying purchase within the retailer's referral window. We don't see your payment details, your shipping address, or what else was in your cart.
Amazon links may use Amazon's OneLink system, which automatically routes international visitors to their local Amazon storefront. Non-Amazon retailer links are added only when we have verified that the retailer carries the product; if a retailer cannot deep-link to the product, the button may open the retailer storefront so you can search there.
What we don't do
- We don't accept paid placements, sponsored posts, or product gifts.
- We don't write reviews based on press samples.
- We don't manipulate rankings to favor brands with higher commission rates.
- We don't track you across the web.
